Creating an enhanced inbound port

Enhanced ports are used to configure document services; these are the most flexible ports, as they allow a service to be re-used. Each party will normally use different schemas and file formats and may use different code within the document; document services provide the ability to do this by configuring it using transformations and document data policies.

An inbound port means that the request is made by an external party, which could be, for example, a request for a product list that is sent as the response.

The port will use an adapter to handle communication. The list of adapters can be extended if a specific adapter is required.

Typically, we would use NetTcp, HTTP, or filesystem.
