As the name implies, a Quote in Microsoft Dynamics CRM is an offer to sell your products or services for a certain price. When working with a Quote from an associated Opportunity, you can generate the Quote using some, all, or none of the product items on the Opportunity. This provides the flexibility to create Quotes based on a number of criteria, such as mixed product-delivery dates, other optional products (referred to as write-in products), and discounts.
