Security Roles

Microsoft Dynamics CRM controls user permissions with Security Roles (see Figure 12.72).

Note

Although Microsoft Dynamics CRM integrates tightly with Active Directory to determine its user base, permissions established in Active Directory have no correlation with users in Microsoft Dynamics CRM. As such, it is quite possible to have an Active Directory membership of Enterprise Administrator, but be in Read-Only User Mode or have a minimal role setting in Microsoft Dynamics CRM and vice versa.
