Templates
Templates facilitate the management of predefined Articles, Contracts, e-mails, and Word mail merges. E-mail Templates can be built to dynamically include context-sensitive information such as senders or receivers.
Four different template categories exist:
Templates can be active or inactive, and can be in any language that the system administrator makes available.

Article Templates
Article Templates are used when working with the Knowledge Base (found in the Service section of Microsoft Dynamics CRM).
