Duplicate Detection Rules
You can use the Duplicate Detection Rule to manage duplicates. A duplicate record can be defined in any manner applicable to your organization and is flexible. The following example illustrates Contacts that have the same e-mail address; however, if your business rules required unique addresses, we could easily add a Duplicate Detection Rule on Address.
To access the Duplicate Detection Rule interface, follow these steps:
1. Click Settings, Data Management, Duplicate Detection Rules (see Figure 24.47).
