As we explained in Chapter 7, “Working with the Workplace,” the functionality to export data is persistent throughout the application. Similarly, so is the ability to import data in Microsoft Dynamics CRM 2011.

Note

Although a separate component for data migration (referred to as the Data Migration Manager [DMM]) existed in previous versions of CRM, there is no longer a separate component for data migration. Instead, the Import Wizard described in this chapter completely replaces the DMM.
