In this chapter, we explored some of the ways in which SQL Server Reporting Services can be integrated with Dynamics GP 2010. Although experienced developers and consultants have been using SSRS to develop reports for Dynamics GP for quite some time, it is only through recent versions of GP that Microsoft has begun providing pre-defined SSRS reports and metrics that can be deployed to a report server. By first installing SQL Server Reporting Services and then deploying these pre-defined reports and metrics, even developers and consultants who do not have a tremendous amount of experience with SSRS can begin taking advantage of its versatile and useful functionality.
