Chapter 27. Working in the cloud
CLOUD COMPUTING—the use of Internet-hosted applications and storage for sharing, backup, and portability—has become, for most of us, an indispensable feature of our daily work lives. Storage is abundant and cheap (often free), the apps are getting better all the time, and the convenience afforded by the cloud is irresistible. In this chapter, we look at the two cloud-computing components that are freely available to all users of Microsoft Excel 2013: Microsoft SkyDrive and the Office Web Apps.
