Summary

This chapter discussed how to create and work with recipients, the destination of all Exchange interactions. You learned about several of the basic types of recipients in Exchange Server 2007—mailbox users, resource mailboxes, mail contacts, and distribution groups—including how to create and configure each. You also learned how to filter recipients and change the recipient scope in Exchange Management Console to make finding recipients easier in large organizations. You learned how to create a template that can serve as a model for creating recipients and create address lists that group recipients in different ways. The next chapter looks at another type of recipient available in an Exchange organization—the public folder.
