Much of the technology discussed so far has existed in one form or another for at least several versions of Exchange. The Store is powered by a database engine, and its physical instantiation is a set of databases on disk. The interesting subject is to discuss just what can be done with those databases using the new technology in Exchange 2010, which is where we go next.
