Chapter 15. Commands
An important area that should be considered by developers is any action that is repetitively performed by an application’s input controls, such as buttons and menu items. An example of this is when you add a menu control with a File Open menu item and at the same time, make a button available to the user in the interface that performs the same function. Cut and paste functionality is also often implemented in a menu item as well as a button on a toolbar and, more often than not, it will be implemented in a context menu, too.
