2. Creating Sites

No doubt you’re eager to begin creating Web pages, but hold up. More than likely, your real goal is to create a Web site of pages that share a similar look and a common navigation system. And that’s a lot harder to do using a one-page-at-a-time approach. So this chapter starts by showing how to create a blank, one-page site. Then the rest of the chapter focuses on how to create a unified, multiple-page site using Expression Web’s templates, which are based on Cascading Style Sheets (CSS). That approach offers two bonuses: your pages display faster and more reliably, plus it’s way easier to update them as your site grows.
