Using Lists to Group Information

Among the essential tags for laying out information on a Web page are lists. There are three basic types of list, as shown in the following table.

List type



Ordered list


Numbered items

Unordered list


Bulleted items

Definition list


Term and definition arrangement

In this exercise, you will learn to insert all three types of lists and arrange information within them.


USE the CH4 sample site. This site is located in the Documents\Microsoft Press\Expression Web SBS\Sample Sites folder.
