Using Microsoft Office Live
One possible solution for registering a domain name and setting up hosting in one step would be Microsoft’s new option: Office Live. Three levels of service are available at www.officelive.com, which range from a free domain registration and Web site to a $39.95 per month plan that offers enhanced space, bandwidth, and the ability to use editors such as Expression Web, Microsoft Office FrontPage, and third-party editors. Only the free plan (Office Live Basics) disallows using third-party editors; but all of the plans offer some form of free trial usage. Office Live might be just what you’re looking for, so you should spend some time checking it out.
