Microsoft Forefront TMG can provide VPN access to clients using the Windows Routing and Remote Access service (RRAS). TMG supports the Point to Point Tunneling Protocol (PPTP), Layer 2 Tunneling Protocol over IP Security (L2TP/IPSec), and Secure Socket Tunneling Protocol (SSTP) VPN connections. You do not need Client Access Licenses (CALs) for remote-access VPN clients.
