For most organizations, the UAG portal and applications are there for employees or partners to use from the public Internet, from home, or while travelling. UAG is designed to be accessed using a host-name that is typed into the browser on a user's computer. This means that the client computers need a way to perform name resolution for the server, and for that, you will have to create a host entry on your public DNS server.
