Portal and Trunk issues

Some users run into a roadblock as soon as they turn on the server, you create a trunk or two, publish an application for the heck of it, but the thing won't come up in your browser. This frustrating start would typically happen due to networking issues. We discussed the importance of networking and routing back in the beginning of the book, so it might be a good idea to re-read it and draw a map of your network.
