Security

With Hyper-V providing a core infrastructure role, security is of vital concern. The simplest approach is to simply add the systems into your domain and keep the default security. Access to the management operating system and hypervisor are restricted to the local administrator account and members of the Domain Admins group. New in the 2012 series of server products is a local Hyper-V Administrators group. Members of this group are allowed to manage everything related to Hyper-V on that particular host but they are not managers of the host computer, and membership in that group doesn't grant access anywhere else in the domain.
