Cluster post-creation steps

Congratulations! You have successfully created a functional failover cluster! However, it's going to need storage and will benefit from some tweaking.

Prepare storage

This chapter only discusses using storage that is already connected and recognized by the hosts. Chapter 4, Storage Design, will look closer at the tools used to connect to storage, but your hardware manufacturer is the best source for directions specific to their equipment.

Once all of your nodes have established a basic connection to storage, the next step is to get it into a usable condition. You can use the venerable Disk Management MMC snap-in, diskpart.exe, or PowerShell for this.
