Chapter 14. Backup and Restore of Microsoft Lync Server 2010

Real-time communication has evolved into a business-critical function. This becomes even more important as enterprises look to Lync Server to replace its legacy PBX system and function as an enterprise voice platform. As with any business-critical service, it must be backed up. Even more important, it must be backed up in a way that restoration of service is both straightforward and quick. After all, telephone service has the same expectations as electricity: always on. A good backup strategy is a solid way to meet those expectations.
