As with any migration, there’s a lot that can go wrong regardless of how well planned in advance. The most important item to check is to ensure that Active Directory is healthy and functioning properly. A close second is ensuring all the required manual DNS changes have been made and DNS works flawlessly. The added convenience of the Deployment Wizard doesn’t lessen the importance of certificates. They are still core to all server and server-client communications.
