Overview
Lync Server 2010 spreads its UC power to other platforms in the Microsoft stack as well. This chapter reviews how Lync Server integrates with and empowers Microsoft Exchange 2010 and SharePoint 2010. Lync Server’s integration with SharePoint occurs mostly through built-in functions in Active Directory. In contrast, Lync Server integration with Exchange 2010 is complex and requires significant configuration to both platforms.
