Using Topic Feeds

Topic feeds in Persistent Chat can be used to receive notifications when a particular keyword is posted in a room. This feature is useful for monitoring specific phrases such as a customer, project, or product name and then being alerted to the discussion in real time.

To create a new topic feed, click the + sign in the upper-right corner of the Persistent Chat section and select Create a New Topic Feed. Enter a name for the feed, select people whom the feed pertains to, and enter keywords to search on. A user can also override the default Persistent Chat settings for a particular feed.
