Chapter 6. Connectivity with XML Web Services, Part 2
Chapter 5, demonstrated how to create an XML Web service using both the Microsoft .NET Framework and GLUE for Java. For each of the Web services created in Chapter 5, you saw a client written in both .NET and Java, looked at how proxy files were generated, and saw some of the compensations that had to be made in order to return data in the correct format and type.
We’ll now look at some common challenges that affect interoperability with Web services, especially in a production environment.
