Exploring a Desktop Database—Housing Reservations
Now that you know something about the major objects that make up a Microsoft Access database, a good next step is to spend some time exploring the Housing Reservations database (Housing.mdb) that comes with this book. First, follow the instructions at the beginning of this book for installing the sample files on your hard drive. When you start Access, it displays the Getting Started page in the task pane open to the right, as shown in Figure 2-2.
