Using the Upsizing Wizard
After you have prepared your desktop database for upsizing, you’re ready to run the Upsizing Wizard. Let’s take a look at upsizing the Contacts2Upsize.mdb sample database. The upsize process does not permanently alter the original database, but the wizard does create temporary objects in this database as it upsizes it. It creates a new project file that contains the converted forms, reports, macros, and modules; converts the tables and queries to an SQL Server database; and connects the new project to that database.
