Creating an Empty Web Site To create a new Web site

  1. If the New task pane is not displayed, on the File menu, click New.

  2. In the New Web site area of the New task pane, click More Web site templates.

  3. Click the Empty Web Site icon.

  4. Specify the location and name of your new Web site, preceding the location with C:\ or another drive letter for disk-based sites or with http:// for server-based sites, and then click OK.
