SOME OF the most interesting and useful new features in Office 2013 involve its deep connections to online services. By signing in using a Microsoft account, you gain access to a generous allotment of free online storage, and your Office settings roam with you as you move from one device to another. You can save a Word document on your desktop PC, for example, and then resume editing it on a tablet, with the Office Roaming Service telling Word exactly where you left off.
