Adding and playing online video

In Word 2013, you can incorporate online video clips in your documents. That’s a great thing if you want to share a clip that illustrates the point you’re making in the written text, or if you want to offer readers another way to understand the importance of a product or service.

Add and play online video

  1. Click the Insert tab.

  2. In the Media group, choose Online Video.

    The Insert Video dialog box opens.

  3. Click in the Bing Video Search and type a word or phrase that reflects the type of video you want to add.

  4. Alternatively, if you have the embed code from one of your own videos (for example, a video you uploaded to YouTube that you want to include in your Word document), click in the From A Video Embed Code ...
