Adding images

Images can add a lot to your worksheets. Maybe you’ll show a picture of a new product, include an image of your manager (or yourself!), or add an inspiring image to get people thinking about the new sales promotion. Whatever your motivations, you can add pictures easily in Excel 2013, whether they’re from your computer or online sites like your SkyDrive account, photo-sharing sites, or Bing search.

Insert a picture file

  1. Click the Insert tab.

  2. Click Illustrations.

  3. Click Picture.

    The Insert Picture dialog box opens.

  4. Navigate to the folder that contains the picture you want to insert.

  5. Click the desired picture.

  6. Click Insert.
