Co-authoring presentations in real time

When you invite others to share your presentation, they can open the file and work on it—even if you’re already in there editing. You do this type of co-authoring in the cloud, and PowerPoint 2013 keeps track of the changes being made so no change you or your co-authors make is lost or overwritten.

Open a shared presentation

  1. Click the File tab to display the Backstage view.

  2. Click Open.

  3. Choose the online location where your shared presentation is stored.

  4. If necessary, click Browse to look through folders and files in your cloud space.

  5. Click the folder containing the file that you want to use and select the file.

  6. Click Open.
