Creating a new worksheet from a template

Excel give you access to hundreds of templates in different styles ranging, from budgets to invoices, to calendars and more. You can scroll through the available templates in the Start screen or you can display the Backstage view and look on the New tab. You can also search for templates by clicking in the Search Online Templates box and typing a word or phrase to locate a template that fits your needs.

Create a new worksheet from a template

  1. Right-click and hold a sheet tab.

    A list menu appears.

  2. Click Insert.

    The Insert dialog box opens.

  3. Click Spreadsheet Solutions.

  4. Click the template that you want to use.

  5. Click OK.
