Flagging mail for follow-up

Here’s an easy way to ensure that you don’t miss a message to which you need to follow up. You can flag the message so that you can easily return to it later and take whatever action is needed. And, if you’re concerned that you might miss it anyway, you can set a reminder so that Outlook alerts you that it’s time to take on that flagged message.

Flag mail

  1. Select a message that you want to flag for follow-up.

  2. Click the Home tab.

  3. In the Tags group, click Follow Up.

  4. Choose the time that you want to assign to the flag.

  5. Alternatively, click No Date if you don’t want to set an end date for the message.
