Formatting text

Formatting text in Publisher isn’t much different from formatting text in Word or Microsoft PowerPoint; you can select the text and use the formatting toolbar to make simple changes. You can also use the tools in the Text Box Tools Format contextual tab to apply quick styles, change text color, adjust spacing, and employ higher-end typographical tools to fine-tune the appearance of your text.

Format text

  1. Display the page with which you want to work.

  2. Highlight the text that you want to change.

    The formatting toolbar appears.

  3. Change the font and size.

  4. Change text color.

  5. To view other formatting choices, click the Text Tools Format contextual tab.

  6. To apply a style to the selected text, click Quick Styles.
