You can launch an app on the Windows 8 Start screen, whether you’re using a mouse or touch. You begin by scrolling the screen to display the app that you want to use. Then, click the tile to launch the associated app.
On the Windows 8 Start screen, scroll or swipe to the left to display additional app tiles that are beyond the right edge of the screen.
