Launching Office 2013

If you’re using Windows 8, you will notice right away how easy it is to launch an app on the Start screen. With just a single click, you can be working with the Office 2013 app of your choice.

If you’re using Windows 7, you begin with the Start button in the lower-left corner of the Windows 7 desktop. When you choose All Programs you can navigate to the Microsoft Office 2013 folder and launch the application that you want to use.

Start Office apps from the Windows 8 Start screen

  1. Scroll to the far-right end of the Start screen apps.

  2. Click the Office 2013 app that you’d like to launch.

    The app opens on the Windows 8 desktop.
