Modifying styles

You can easily change the various settings included in a style so that you get just the look you want. To do so, in the Styles pane, click Modify to display the Modify Style dialog box, in which you can set the font, size, and formatting for the style.

Modify a style

  1. Display the Styles pane and click the arrow that appears to the right of the style that you want to change.

    A list of style options appears.

  2. Click Modify to open the Modify Style dialog box.

  3. Change the formatting settings that you want to include with this style.

    For example, you might change the font or size of the text, alter the way the text is aligned on the page, alter the text color, or adjust the line spacing.
