Moving from app to app in Windows 8

Even though when you’re working with Windows 8 apps you don’t see the same traditional windows you were accustomed to in Windows 7, you can easily move from app to app in Windows 8. The process is as easy as dragging your finger in from the left side of the screen, and the next open application appears on your screen.

  1. Launch all of the apps with which you want to work.

  2. Swipe in from the left edge of the screen and drag the app to the center of the screen and release it. If you’re using the mouse, you can click at the edge of the screen and drag inward to replicate the swipe motion.
