Opening existing notebooks

OneNote 2013 makes it easy to open existing notebooks, no matter how many notebooks you might have. You can access notebooks saved online in your cloud storage or stored in a folder on your computer. You’ll find the existing notebooks by choosing the File tab and clicking Open or by selecting Open Other Notebooks in the notebook selection list at the top of the notes area.

Open a notebook from SkyDrive

  1. Start OneNote and click the File tab to display the Backstage view.

  2. Select a notebook saved on SkyDrive that you want to open.

  3. Click the refresh icon to refresh the folder display from your cloud storage.

  4. Click to display your SkyDrive folder so that you can manage the files and folders stored there.
