If you prefer to dictate your notes or capture video of an event that you want to include in your notebook, you’re in luck: with OneNote 2013, you can record both audio and video and add them to your notes pages. You’ll find the tools you need on the Insert tab, in the Recording group. You can easily record whatever you like and OneNote will place it on the current page. You can play the audio or video note at any time by double-clicking the media icon to display the options list and clicking Play.
Open the note to which you want to add audio.
Click the Insert tab.
In the Recording group, click Record Audio.
