OneNote 2013 has a great, fast search tool that brings you instantly the results you’re seeking, whether you’ve typed a single character or a word or phrase. You can use search criteria to locate notes within a specific page, section, or notebook, and you can choose to search all notebooks at once if you like. If you think you’ll be using a certain search regularly, you can set it as the default search so that you can use it again easily in the future.
Click in the Search box on the right side of the OneNote window and type a word or phrase that you want to find.
OneNote instantly shows you where the word or phrase is found.
The word is also highlighted if found on the current note page.
