Using Quick Steps to manage mail

Quick Steps give you a convenient way to manage the volume of mail that, if you’re like most of us, threatens to bury you during the course of a day. Quick Steps help you to create, send, reply to, and organize your mail quickly, with a minimum of steps.

Set up and use a Quick Step

  1. In your Inbox, click the email message that you want to use.

  2. In the Quick Steps box, click Move To.

    The First Time Setup dialog box opens.

  3. Click the Move To Folder down arrow.

  4. Click Other Folder if you want to specify a folder where the mail will be stored automatically when you choose the Move To Quick Step.

  5. Click Always Ask For Folder if you want Outlook to prompt you to choose the folder each time you select the Move To Quick ...
