Using the ribbon

On the ribbon, you’ll find all the tools you need as you create, edit, enhance, and share your Office 2013 files. In addition to the standard tabs that you see by default in your current Office 2013 application, additional tabs called contextual tabs appear that present you with tools related to any object that you have selected. To choose the tool you want to use on the ribbon, you begin by selecting the tab you need and then clicking the specific tool you need.
