Chapter 15. Time Tracking in Project Web Access

IN THIS CHAPTER

Tracking project time in Project Web Access (PWA) is composed of two functions on the menu tab: Tasks and Updates. Anyone recording time enters his time on the Tasks page. Only the project manager uses the Updates page to approve the time. It's important to understand that everything you enter in the Tasks page must be approved by the project manager in the Updates page. So even though it sounds like it might be a bad idea to allow team members to create a new task or delegate a task, the project manager has final authority over whether the change is accepted into the schedule.
