Deploying Web Parts

As you develop Data Views, you may want to use the same formatted and filtered Data View on other sites within your site collection. Using the browser or SharePoint Designer, you can export the Web Part and reuse it. With both the browser and SharePoint Designer, you can save the Web Part file to the file system, and from there, you can import it into a page. SharePoint Designer allows you to export the Web Part directly to the Web Part gallery.
