With the Data Source Library task pane, you can connect to another site and view data connections in its Data Source Library. This enables you to share data connection definitions across sites, which is particularly useful when many sites need to connect to the same data sources. For example, you could define all the data source connections on one central site, and then connect to the central site’s Data Source Library from the other sites, using its data source connection to create your Data Views.
