Creating Reports

Windows SharePoint Services and SharePoint Server provide a number of reports that you can access by using a browser. Using SharePoint Designer, depending on the Contributor group you are in, you have access to additional reports. These reports are limited to the site you have open, but do go back more than 30 days, which is the limit of the reports available when using a browser. You can configure the number of months you would like to include in these reports in the Application Options dialog box, which you can access on the Tools menu.
