Summary

In this chapter, we have discussed the many features that are available under the overall umbrella of publishing. Some of them, such as publishing sites, work together to provide special functionality. These, in turn, differ greatly from collaborative sites. Others, like variations, extend the functionality of publishing sites. Due to their unique approach and structure, publishing sites require more planning in their design and architecture. Because they are generally used as the public face of your organization, branding and content control are particularly critical considerations.
