Integrating Reporting Services with SharePoint
Reporting Services offers several flexible deployment scenarios depending on your existing infrastructure and requirements for SQL Server 2005 Reporting Services, such as whether you switch Reporting Services from native to SharePoint Integrated mode to take full advantage of integration features. It is possible to include Reporting Services reports in SharePoint sites in which the Reporting Services mode is set to native mode by using Reporting Services Viewer Web parts, which are installed as part of SQL Server 2005. However, this will not produce the rich experience you’ll get when you use SharePoint Integrated mode. Let’s consider the following options:
