Customizing a Meeting Workspace

Because a meeting workspace is a special kind of SharePoint Web site, you can use a number of SharePoint features to customize the workspace to meet your needs. You can add or remove sections of the page, called Web parts. The lists of tasks, objectives, or agenda items are examples of Web parts. You can rearrange the Web parts to be most useful to you and your team. You can even add pages to your site, which you would then fill with Web parts. You can also choose from a number of themes that change the color scheme and visual style of your site.

In this exercise, you will add, remove, and rearrange Web parts in your meeting workspace, and then apply a theme to the site.
